ABOUT STEPHEN FLAMHAFT

 

Stephen Flamhaft is one of the most respected trial attorneys in New York. Born and raised in Brooklyn,  a graduate of Bucknell University and New York Law School, and served  as a  former prosecutor with the District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn.  Steve has established a well earned reputation as a tenacious advocate of his clients’ rights.

As a noted criminal lawyer for over 40 years, Stephen has represented many high profile defendants in his career, and has recieved the admiration and the respect  of his clients, the Criminal Defense Bar as well as Judges throughout the city. He has lectured on "Effective selection of a jury".  Stephen was an officer of the Kings County Criminal Bar Association and is a member of the Federal Bar Association.  He has been regoznied as a New York Super Lawyer in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

 

Long active in the soccer community, Stephen has served as general counsel to the United States Soccer Federation and is  a former Olympic and National team soccer player.
